Designed to stand out, the Peshawn Bread Dancer Tall Lace-Up Boot brings bold style to an elevated, statement-making silhouette. Created in collaboration with Comanche, Kiowa, and Cherokee designer Peshawn Bread, the design blends bold styling with meaningful, story-driven artwork. Plant imagery reflects the importance of medicine and connection to place, with a cedar motif symbolizing home and healing, and an arrow detail representing strength and protection. Finished with our Turtle Sole by Cree artist Heather Endall, this tall lace-up boot delivers comfort and stability for everyday wear.
About the Art
\"The boot is inspired by my Comanche relatives and the utility of our footwear. I also found inspiration from the spring and the Indigenous resistance of foraging/caring for the land. The embroidered plant on the side represents cedar from where I call home on the southern plains and carries medicine with you through each step. The arrow on the back is my idea of protection and strength. I believe plant medicine is crucial for our bodies, hearts and minds and connects us to the land. With these nʉmʉnʉ inspired boots, I hope it invokes adventure, the need to travel, to enjoy the world around you and to feel like you can do anything.\"
