A beautiful set of four Danish Modern dining chairs — Model 316, designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and manufactured by Søborg Møbler in the 1960s. One of the most refined and sought-after dining chair designs of the Mid-Century Modern era, now reupholstered and ready for another generation of use.

The Frame — Sculptural Teak Craftsmanship The curved solid teak backrest is the defining element of this design — supported by angled elements that flow seamlessly from backrest to leg in a single sculptural arc. The sculpted backrest edges are a thoughtful functional detail, allowing chairs to slide in and out from the table with ease. Solid teak legs with spindle-like cross braces complete the frame — visually light yet exceptionally strong and durable.

The Upholstery — Reupholstered in Soft Teal Mohair Freshly reupholstered in a soft teal mohair, the seats bring warmth and a contemporary sensibility to the classic teak frame. The teal tone complements the warm wood tones beautifully — a colour pairing that feels both faithful to the Mid-Century Modern palette and completely current in today\'s interiors.
