An 18th-century Italian Baroque walnut stool featuring a scalloped apron and worn leather seat above shaped legs terminating in hoofed feet. The legs are joined by a shaped, crossed stretcher centered with a finial, and each knee is carved with a grotesque mask. The leather, while weathered, has a gorgeous surface with old patina and remnants of trim. An RT Facts find.
