   Detangle: Before washing, gently brush out any tangles using a wide-tooth comb or your fingers. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots to prevent breakage.

   Wash: Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water and a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic wigs. Submerge the wig and gently swish it for a few minutes. Do not rub or twist the fibers.

   Rinse: Rinse the wig thoroughly in cool water until all shampoo is removed.
