Handwoven vintage Persian rug
Handwoven wool low pile Persian rug. Measures 7’5”x4’2”. Features a thick border, three central medallions, and camel motifs. This rug has a muted sandy field with pops of indigo, terracottas, and chocolate. The rug is in good vintage condition.
Camels are known for their resilience in harsh desert environments, making them symbols of endurance, strength, and perseverance in Persian culture. Including camels in rug designs reflects a respect for these animals and their ability to endure difficult conditions.
