A gorgeous semi-translucent green piece of New Zealand Totoweka Pounamu carved by Ric Moor.

SPIRIT - we love the jade, the carving and the ridge-top binding! A lovely, large sized pendant.

If you look at the top of the piece, you can see a slight red tinge through the stone. This is called \'totoweka\' - Weka\'s blood - and is quite rare, so this just adds a little something extra to a piece that already is quite unique. A rare and beautiful local jade with exceptional colour - this is clearly reflected in this piece of stone! Wear it and feel that connection with solid ground.

SPIRIT can be worn reversed - it is a very attractive piece worn either side to the front.

Much like us, each piece of Pounamu has its\' own \'DNA\', its\' own structure and special features that make it unique. This provides challenges, and opportunities for the carver. This is where the artists\' creativity must be matched with a technical carving skill - wonderfully achieved by Ric Moor in this piece...
