Detailed information on Cone Chair
This is a Cone Chair, originally designed by Verner Panton in 1958. This particular example was produced by Plus Linje in the 1960s. The cone chair was originally designed for a restaurant in Denmark, though the novelty of the design has made it an icon, which is still in production. The chair has an upholstered seat in red fabric that sits atop a chromed steel four-prong bases.
The chair measures 22.75 inches deep, 24 inches wide, and 33.5 inches high with a seat height of 19.5 inches. The seat height is approximately 19.25 inches. This piece does show minor wear from previous use but overall is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
