A gorgeous antique Victorian amethyst pearl necklace adorned with five droppers set with round and pear-cut amethysts ranging from 1.8 – 3ct each. They have a luxurious deep-purple hue that is complemented perfectly by nineteen bright white pearls set above and along the length of the chain.   

Amethyst is the birthstone of February and the stone of Saint Valentine. Its deep purple-violet hue has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and contrasts beautifully with the bright, natural lustre of pearls, which together symbolise romance, love and loyalty.

The chain and droppers are fashioned in 15ct gold and fitted with a new 9ct ring clasp. It dates to the late 19 Century would be perfect for a glamorous evening do.
