This composition was originally known as Svart och Vit. When Ludvig Nobel commissioned the rug for his Skånegården hotel, he began referring to it as Höstmattan, and the name was subsequently changed.

MATERIALS AND CAREThe rug is handwoven in wool on a wool warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
