HOT ! Vintage Julep Cups by Webster Wilcox, Monogrammed

A lovely set of 4 vintage heavy silver-plated Julep cups by Webster Wilcox, monogrammed. These vintage Julep cups have a magical feel to them. They are extremely solid/heavy in weight and well-crafted. They feature the traditional \"footed\" base and tapered design and a \"beaded\" design on the upper and lower part of the cup. Truly a stunning set. 

Please Note: each of these cups with 3 initials on the front that\'s a heavily scrolled font that looks almost decorative and less like initials (we mention this twice as we know it\'s easy to miss details of a listing). The initials are SRH. See all photos. Cheers.

Maker: Webster Wilcox

A bit about this maker: The Wilcox Silver Plate Co. (1867-c. 1980) was formed in Meriden, Connecticut. From 1865 to 1867, it was known as the Wilcox Brittania Co. In 1898, the company was acquired by the International Silver Company, headquartered in Meriden. After the acquisition, the Wilcox Silver Plate Co. brand continued until 1980.

Measurements:  Each cup measures just shy of 4 1/2\" tall and the diameter is a tad of 3 3/4\" 

Hallmarks: Each cup has the \"Webster Wilcox\" etched on the bottom

Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age. We like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage pieces/sets, so here\'s a full summary:

1) There\'s general what we refer to as \"surface wear\" (that can include micro fine scratches, noticeable scrapes, etc) from past handling or how the cups were stored2) There\'s also surface wear to the bottom rims (where the rim would sit on a hard surface)3) There\'s tarnish in a few places (we have not polished these cups)4) There\'s some tarnish and age spots to some of the interior bottoms

In short, these cups are in good vintage condition with signs of age. They are truly stunning and and have a magical feel to them.
